| Introduction |
The old saying “you can’t make a silk purse from a sow’s ear” is quite appropriate to the manufacture of Paper Carrier Bags. To achieve a high quality product you must begin with a high quality paper. |

We use Essential Velvet 200g/m2 which is a high quality triple blade coated paper. Triple blade mean that the paper is clay coated 3 times to give a pristine white colour and the smoother finish essential for high quality printing. It is Elemental Chlorine Free – nil certified. |
Bleached White Kraft 140g/m2 which is a brown kraft single clay coated which will give an off-white uneven finish making close registration and quality printing impossible. |
| |
Our aim is to produce a Paper Carrier Bag which will continue to be used long after your event and consequently keep the brand name alive. Strength and “stay-white” colour are therefore essential. |
Most definitely not one to keep the brand alive as it becomes more and more discoloured with time. |
| Summary |
Almost a 50% increase in paper weight over non UK suppliers to make much more rigid Paper Carrier Bags with a smoother and whiter finish. This can be particularly important when the bags have a predominantly white finish. |
